The 404 Interceptor was designed by Jim Walker in 1947. This model sports the original metal wing pivoting mechanism that was designed by Jim Walker for his pre-war Army Interceptor. You fold the wings back and capult launch it high into the air with the supplied rubber launcher. This model is no longer in production and we only have a few for sale. This is a definite collector item.

This model is hand made in Oregon by Frank Macy. The original 404 Interceptors were also made in Oregon at the American Junior Aircraft Company. The difference is that this model is produced in small quantities by hand and not with the mass production equipment of the orifinal company owned by Jim Walker. We still believe that Made in the USA stands for quality and that Jim Walker would be proud of these models.
