view of our history and what Frank Macy was producing prior to his death in May 2009.

American Junior Classics Store is like an old fashioned Hobby Shop

Welcome to the American Junior Classics Store. We have balsa wood airplanes based on Jim Walker's American Junior Aircraft designs. These model airplanes include the Hornet and the next generation of Folding Wing Gliders. These are quality balsa wood airplanes and not plastic. More American Junior model airplanes and products will be added as they become available. American Junior Classics' models are all MADE IN THE USA.

The original "404" Interceptor first appeared in 1947, and was designed by Jim Walker. This model sports a new folding wing mechanism. Each model hand made by Frank Macy.

The folding wing mechanism has been updated from metal to plastic with exeptional reliability. This design is actually based on a prototype that Jim Walker's company was working on before his death. There is a lot of history behind this design.
